Astronomers can spend an entire career’s worth of time studying specific types of stars. If you could choose one spectral or luminosity class of star or one area of the H-R Diagram on which to focus, what would you choose, and why? How do you consider your chosen area interesting? How do you consider it to be important?
Given a chance to choose a star, the answer would definitely be the supergiant star. This is the most fascinating star ever, which exhibits relatively enormous size and intrinsic luminosity. The supergiant are larger in diameter and typically several times brighter compared to the giant stars (Smith, 2007). The supergiant star are also among the world’s most massive and luminous star. Additionally, the supergiant stars comes in different sizes, shapes and color. The supergiant stars also tends to very high up in the sky unlike other stars. Supergiant’s stars also tends to be tenuous and their lifetime is only just a few million years. There numerous reasons which makes me consider my chosen area to be interesting but am going to highlight a few. During expulsion, the supergiant may reach other planets which mostly depends on their mass (Chiavassa et al, 2010). The supergiant are also branded………………
